The unit is controlled with a multi-port valve on top of the vessel allowing automatic regeneration at a given time or after a metered quantity of water is used. A separate brine tank is included which sits next to the vessel.

Duplex softeners use high quality vessels and superior softening resin which reduces the amount of salt needed for regeneration. The units are controlled with a multi-port valve on top of the vessels allowing automatic regenerqtion at a given time or after a metered quantity of water is used. The twin vessel configeration allows fro continuous service as one vessel goes into regeneration the other will go into service. A separate brine tank is included which sits next to the vessel.
